Ahead of the Mohali Test which will be starting on Thursday, there was another bad news for the touring Australian side after wicketkeeper Matthew Wade injured his ankle during a practice session here on Saturday.
“He (Wade) got injured while playing basketball yesterday and he is currently undergoing a scan at a hospital. We don’t know the status as of now,” the Australian team’s media manager Matt Cenin told PTI yesterday."
Cricket Australia released a statemet on Monday Wicketkeeper Matthew Wade has a sprained ankle and Brad Haddin will be flown to Mohali on Monday to be placed on standby for Australia's third Test against India.
