List of new records set by Chris Gayle during PW vs RCB Match

Bangalore, April 23: Chris Gayle shredded the record books on Tuesday evening at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Gayle's sensational 66-ball 175 not out for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in IPL 2013 will go down as one of the greatest knocks in cricket history.

It was carnage in Bangalore and Pune bowlers were annihilated by the big Jamaican. Boundaries gushed out of the heavy bat of Gayle and the Pune players were left to be mere spectators.

Once the Gayle show was over at the half-time, it was all over by then. But Pune had to bat and they managed to score mere 133/9 in 20 overs. RCB coasting to victory by massive 130-run margin. Gayle hammered a record 17 sixes. Add to that 13 fours. His strike rate was a whopping 265.15.
