Ten teams will be participating in Champions League T20 2013 these these teams are divided into two groups i.e Group A and Group B respectively. England will not be playing Champions League T20 due to scheduling problem because the dates of this tournament collide with the end of County Championship tournament.
First match in Champions League T20 will be played between Otago Volts vs Faisalabad Wolves. It is a qualifier match of pool A. Faislabad Wolves is a new team included this year in CLt20 2013. There are six Qualifiers in the begining of CLT20 2013 this year which decides the teams for this Champions league.
Group A: Mumbai Indians (India), Highveld Lions (South Africa), Perth Scorchers (Australia), Rajasthan Royals (India), Q1 (Qualifier)
Group B: Chennai Super Kings (India), Titans (South Africa), Brisbane Heat (Australia), Trinidad & Tobago (West Indies), Q2 (Qualifier)
Qualifier: Sunrisers Hyderabad (India), Otago Volts (New Zealand), SL Domestic League Winner (Sri Lanka), Faisalabad Wolves (Pakistan)
