Ambati Rayudu replaces Manoj Tiwary for T20 Series against England

Indian middle-order batsman Manoj Tiwary has been ruled out of the two match T20 International series against England because of a side strain.

The Indian Selection Committee has picked Ambati Rayudu as a replacement for the injured Manoj Tiwary. This is Rayudu's first international call-up and comes after a strong IPL season in which he was Mumbai Indians' second-highest run scorer in 2012, with 333 in 15 innings. The 27-year-old batsman is currently playing in the Ranji Trophy and has already hit four half-centuries and one hunred out of the six matches he has played this season.

India is yet to play the fourth and final Test match against England which starts Dec 13.

The two Twenty20s against England are in Pune on December 20 and Mumbai two days later.
